My 100% commitment on getting the shots you're looking for this is why i will not be taking any camera equipment on the day, its your day.

We will meet at Seahouses Northumberland, Top main car park on main road above boat harbor at 08.15 we will have a safety talk concerning the boat and islands, then a talk about camera settings for the day, We should be on each island for around 2 hours and you will get the chance to photograph the Seals to and from the islands so camera at the ready  

We will be photographing Puffins in flight and other sea birds we will be looking for that Puffin shot that says look i have all the sand Eels, we will look at flight shots and using AF-button (back focus button) and AF tracking for Puffins in flight.

What's not included` landing fee £26 on both Islands pack lunch and drinks.

The Farne Islands is without doubt the best place to photograph sea birds up close within the UK, in high summer the islands hold thousands of seabirds, Guillemots, Razorbills, Ducks, Terns Common Arctic and Sandwich, and 70,000 Puffins.

The islands are also home to over 2,000 Grey seals which you may be able to get shots of them sun bathing on the rocks before landed on your first of two islands (staple island and inner farnes), 

With full tuition on hand all day this will start before we board the boat and then on the islands we will cover, white balance, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, exposure compensation, We will also look at what settings is best for you and your camera on the day, we will be looking at light, this is the most important issues here and a lot attention will be given.

You will need waterproofs good footwear (walking boots) no shoes or trainers, mono or tripod and lens size 200mm and over, lens waterproof covers this can be large freezer bags, food and water, toilet is on the second island (inner farne).

Your boat fee is included in the workshop price but landing fee of around £26 for both islands is NOT included. payment is made on the day to National trust of England and Scotland card holds free but please check before you go that you hold the right membership card.

At point of booking a non refundable deposit of £50 pp will hold your place and full payment due 4 weeks before your workshop date, all deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your workshop, if on the day the workshop is cancelled by the boat operator due to bad weather then full payment would be returned to you, if we manage to land on one island the workshop will go ahead and no refund will be given, please read the Terms and conditions
