Dean Bricknell - Wildlife photography at the cutting edge - a lifelong passion for inspirational nature photography Dean has been involved in photography for over 25 years and runs a successful family photography Wedding business Eden Images.(click here). He enjoys all aspects of photography, from landscapes to portraits and weddings, but it's the beauty and wonder of nature and wildlife that really causes delight. Dean continues as a volunteer Wildlife Ranger Argaty Red kite project. His photograph's of animals range from pine martins/badgers to red kites/crested tits. His landscape photography covers many terrains - mainly covering Scotland's mountains, lochs and historical features. Being based in Bathgate provides an ideal location to capture these images, with the subjects being near enough on the doorstep. Being up and about before dawn is a way of life - being at a stunning wild location as day breaks is compulsive and addictive.

PHILOSOPHY.   Dean is an active and keen conservationist. His ambition, through his photography, is to increase knowledge and support for Scotland's magnificent wildlife, help educate others and raise awareness of the essential need to protect and promote wildlife conservation.

PUBLICATIONS/AWARDS.  Dean's work has been published worldwide on websites, books and magazines, including Wildlife Aid. Recently commissioned by RSPB Scotland to provide images for the Trossachs Bird of prey trail website and associated display boards. DVD/slideshow and display production for RSPB, SWT and Argaty red kite project is ongoing.

PROJECTS.  Recent projects have included: capturing images of resident wildlife and important landscapes within large estates, Scottish rural development farming projects and species reintroduction programmes, most notably red kites.
