Wildlife

Wildebeest, topi, zebra, and Thomson's gazelle migrate into and occupy the Mara reserve, from the Serengeti plains to the south. All members of the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, African elephant, cape buffalo, and black rhinoceros) are found in the Masai Mara. Hyenas, Cheetahs, Jackals, and Bat-eared foxes. Antelopes including Grant's gazelles, impalas, Duikers and Coke's Hartebeests and many more. The plains are also home to the distinctive Masai giraffe. More than 470 species of birds have been identified in the park, many of which are migrants, with almost 60 species being raptors. Birds that call this area home include: Vultures, Eagles, Buzzards, Goshawks, Falcons, Hawks, Kestrels, Marabou storks, Secretary birds, Hornbills, Crowned cranes, Ostriches, Long-crested eagles, African pygmy-falcons, Bee-eaters and the Lilac-breasted roller, which is the national bird of Kenya.

All our flights are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Bookings are protected by ABTA the Association of British Travel Agents, Your trip is designed by myself and put together though a well established travel company.

Lodges are used on my safaris, our permits cover all areas of the Mara NP, with additional permits for the Mara triangle areas (£75pp per day as from 2017/18) professional local guides are used, with 17 Kenya and Tanzania safaris under my belt and photography tours over the past 10 years it's all about timing, location and knowledge. The east has a good head of cheetah and 3 Lion prides one of which very large 10 strong, as the migration passes though they eat the grass as they head west and making it easy to see other animals, i pick the lodges on the east side and within a 2 to 3 hour drive straight through the Mara NP with plenty of wildlife on the way we can be in the western or the Mara triangle (these are the days which we spend all day out in the Mara)  Lake Naivasha tour will be on way back to airport where we will have our own 6 seater boat  for around two hours

I may receive a discount for myself from all companies involved so everyone's a winner
